Super Disgusting

So to make life easier I bath Kena and Aidan together, but that might change after today. While I was online looking up info about termites I hear Makena in the background saying something about tooting and not 5 seconds later I hear her yelling, "Mommy get me out of the bathtub now!!!" First thought, "oh crap". And what do you know...they were bathing in diarrhea water. It was so disgusting and poor Makena was horrified and of course being the cochino (disgusting in Spanish) he is, Aidan was laughing. Anyways, I unplugged the bath tub and all Makena kept saying was, "this is so disgusting, oh so gross"...her expressions and sayings were priceless. I don't know if her reaction that made me lose it or my low blood sugar, but I could not stop laughing as I was rinsing down the poo and cleaning them up. I know...I'm an aweful mother. :) So, what have I learned from this...hmm maybe I'll give Aidan showers from now on.

Here are a few pictures from our trips to the beach this summer. At first Aidan was a little hesitant about the water, but once he got his feet wet he was good to go. Makena was the same way...now she's the very opposite. I bet if they could, they would live in water. Meanwhile little miss Abby was either in her carseat or the wagon sleeping...the beach just isn't her thing :)

Jimmy took this pic of Aidan kissing his baby sister...or the ball as he so calls it. Hopefully after she's born he'll still want to kiss on her...by the way for those of you wondering, she should be here soon! I had a ton of hard back to back contractions Wednesday night/Thursday morning, but things have since settled down. We have some more trips to the mall planned for today and this weekend, so all that walking better produce a baby :)




On our way over to the inlaws for some more walking, I found Kena and Aidan nappin together...they're so cute together. I am so thankful and blessed at how much they love each other. I just pray that they stay friends throughout their lives.

So I had an appointment last week and I found out that Abigail is only 5lbs, 5oz. She's so tiny...hopefully she gains a little more weight. Although I remember how cute Makena was at 6lbs, 11oz with her skinny little body. Chunky babies aren't the only cute babies :) Anyways, even though Abby is small, this pregnancy has physically been the hardest. I'm guessing because I happened to pop out right away and lifting Aidan up and down is not always easy. With that said I decided to treat myself to a little something...a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag...yay!!! I must confess, I did get on Ebay, so thank the Lord I didn't pay full price for the thing, but the bidding wars gave me a lot of anxiety :) Do you like?

Aidan lovin bath time

So here it is, the Lopez Family blog. I know, I know...I should've done this sooner, especially with Makena and Aidan growing right before our eyes...literally :)

Makena is now 4 years old and an amazing big sister. She loves her little brother so much even when he's chasing her around the house with a bat or a stick.

Aidan is turning into such a boy. All he ever wants to do is throw or kick things. His new favorite saying is, "I love you".

Jimmy and I, well Makena more so, are awaiting the arrival of our second baby girl, Abigail. With only 5 weeks to go we're starting to get very anxious and are working very hard to get everything ready for her arrival. We're also working on landscaping our ginormous backyard...hopefully it'll be ready soon so we can have a huge bbq with all of you.
